Privacy policy

Your information, treated with care.

Effective 10 August 2026. This policy explains what the Word Alive app collects, why we use it, and how you can control or delete it.

1. Who we are

Word Alive Global Network provides spiritual content, community features, training and member services through its Android and web applications. Questions about this policy can be sent to joshualinsia@gmail.com.

The service is intended for people aged 13 and above. It is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information, contact us so we can remove it.

2. Information we collect

3. How we use information

4. Service providers and sharing

We use Google and Firebase services for authentication, databases, file storage, notifications, hosting, analytics and technical operations. These providers process information for us under their own security and privacy terms.

We do not sell or rent personal information. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, or during a legitimate organizational transfer with appropriate safeguards.

5. Giving and payments

The Giving section may display payment, bank or contact details supplied by Word Alive. The app does not process or store your donation transaction. Any external bank or payment provider you choose has its own privacy practices.

6. Security and retention

We use HTTPS, Firebase security controls and limited administrative access to help protect information. No service can guarantee absolute security, so please use a strong password and protect your device.

Identifiable information is kept while your account is active or as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes and protect the service. Local offline audio remains until you remove it, clear app data or delete your account.

7. Account and data deletion

Using Profile → Delete account in the app permanently deletes your identifiable account and training information immediately. This includes your Firebase account, profile, registrations, progress, assignment submissions and files, grades, certificates, support tickets, live-chat messages, chat reports, blocked-user records, likes, notification read markers, profile photo and certificate files. The app also clears its local session, birthday cache and offline audio on that device.

Deletion requests sent through our public page or support email are completed within 30 days after we verify account ownership. Anonymized aggregate analytics and essential security logs may remain where they no longer identify your account or are needed to protect the service.

8. Your choices and rights

You can update profile details in the app, control device notification permissions, remove downloaded audio, or delete your account. You may also ask us to access, correct or delete information by emailing joshualinsia@gmail.com. Applicable rights can vary by location.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our app, services or legal obligations change. The new version will be published here with a revised effective date.
